Course Description

This foundation course comprises the first three chapters of NADD Ontario’s text Dual Diagnosis: An introduction to the mental health needs of persons with developmental disabilities . Learning module topics include a basic introduction to developmental disabilities, recognizing and understanding the mental health needs of persons with developmental disabilities within a biopsychosocial model and strategies for optimizing supports.

LGBTQ Newcomer Advisory Group

 

Are you a permanent resident or government assisted refuge? Identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning? Have you thought about what kinds of programs and services are needed for LGBTQ newcomers? If so, reachOUT Newcomer Network wants to hear from you!

We are starting an advisory group that will meet for 2 hours each week over a 4 week period. Total commitment is 8 hours.

 

$100 Honorarium

TTC + Food
