Passport Mentoring continues to create opportunities for students across Ontario as they think about their life after high school. Students between the ages of 14 and 21, who have an intellectual disability, are realizing possibilities that begin with their individual interests and ideas. Mentor Coordinators introduce students to mentors who share the same interests or who hold roles that the students wish to explore. Mentors are people in the community who have valuable information, ideas, and inspiration for students. With the support of the student’s personal network (family, friends and supporters), this exploration of the possibilities for their future will inspire students to reach their full potential.
